GooseNews is an invite-only beta. These are the data practices implemented today—not a request for blanket consent.

REQUIRED

Account & security

Email, display name, a password hash, login sessions, verification/reset records and rate-limit records are used to create and protect your account.

ACCOUNT-PRIVATE

Your reader choices

Personal RSS URLs, folders, saved/read state, language, city and Editorial preference signals are tied to your account. They are not advertising profiles.

AI PROCESSING

News text sent to the AI provider

For approved Editorial sources, GooseNews may extract text from the linked public page and send selected source text to the AI provider for event grouping, briefs and preferred-language output. Personal RSS source text is sent only when you request a learning edition.

YOUR CHOICE

Personalization controls

Editorial ranking can learn from reading and feedback. It has no legal or similarly significant effect, and you can disable or reset it in Account Settings.

No advertising trackers are installed. GooseNews does not collect payment-card data today. A personal feed enters Editorial review only if you explicitly suggest it.
